Ethnic identity and tolerance of foreign students in the multicultural environment of a military higher education institution

چکیده
The article is devoted to determining the level of ethnic identity and manifestation tolerance among foreign military students a Russian higher education institution in context intercultural interaction; it noted that environment educational characterised by deprivation. presents results study. sample consisted 38 from countries far enough Russia, studying on preparatory, first second years, at Military Academy Radiation, Chemical & Biological Protection named after Marshal Soviet Union S.K. Timoshenko, City Kostroma. Dynamics was revealed studied indicators different courses. Positive dynamics terms indifference, positive identity, ethno-egoism, ethno-fanaticism, with negative social tolerance, ethno-nihilism, ethno-isolationism. On one hand, respect for other nations, readiness cooperation enhances; there risk conflicts, autonomisation. It thus necessary create special pedagogic conditions development multicultural environment, based taking into account national, socio-psychological, service factors, as well using possibilities discipline ‟The language”.
